We have an in-store museum that includes artifacts from pioneers and native peoples, animal trophies, meteorites, and hand-crafted art. If you enjoy biology, geology, paleontology, archeology, astronomy, or metaphysics, then we have quite a bit in common. ABOUT US

Ever since childhood, I have been fascinated with the natural world and everything in it. I collected rocks and fossils. I caught snakes and turtles. I hunted, fished, and trapped animals of all sorts. I was in awe of space. I gazed at the stars and always felt a deep connection with nature. I think this is the root of my passion for all things meteorite – there’s so much to discover! So in the late 1990s I purchased a metal detector and a gold-hunting book and headed west to hunt for meteorites.I’d spend weeks at a time out in Arizona, Nevada, and California.

While I was scouring the ground for meteorites I came across all sorts of other treasures the desert had to offer. I started collecting broken bits of ancient pottery, old bullets, tin cans, glass bottles, antlers, teeth, skulls, geodes, and agates. I even started photography as a hobby! Pretty soon I was meeting other collectors and purchasing pieces from across the globe. This led to an entirely new collection of items out of Africa. I realized I had a large enough collection I could open a gift store. So I purchased a building, and Cosmic Connection Meteorites & Items of Natural History was born.
